Phoenix Restoration Equipment, a division of Therma-Stor LLC, is excited to introduce its latest offering in its R Series Rotomold LGR Dehumidifiers, the Phoenix R250.
The new R250 has been redesigned from the inside out to be a rugged, high-performance dehumidifier. Phoenix is leading the industry by introducing epoxy coated coils. This new feature will extend the life of the coil, provide protection in corrosive environments, and maintain the coil’s heat transfer ability. Phoenix has also added a new heavy-duty condensate pump and a new rugged float switch designed specifically for restoration environments. The R250 comes equipped with the same outstanding retractable handle used on the R200 along with patented ByPass™ Technology, hi-temp performance up to 110ºF, increased airflow, multiple ducting options, and a pleated media filter. And, with some amazing Phoenix engineering, the NEW R250 removes the most water of the Phoenix rotomolds at 135 pints per day (AHAM) while drawing only 8.3 amps of electricity, making it one of the smallest, lightest XL category LGRs on the market.
MAIN FEATURES:
- The R250 has more water removal @ AHAM (135 pints) for the same amount of amperage draw (8.3). It also has more water removal throughout the entire dry-down process.
- The R250 utilizes an epoxy coated (e-coat) coil, which aids in better overall coil life, reduction of corrosion due to harsh environments, and enhances the ability to transfer heat over the life of the coil. While not new in the HVAC world, this is the first time this advanced technology is being used in a restoration product.
- The R250 has an upgraded condensate pump and float switch that in testing has more than double the cycle life of conventional condensate pumps.
- The R250 has the same footprint and exterior design as the R200 – still the best handle and can stack interchangeably with the R200.
